1. Introduction

Welcome to D-host, a modern short-term rental marketplace connecting independent hosts with guests seeking unique stays across the United Kingdom.

By accessing or using our website, platform, or any of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use D-Host.

2. Our Role

D-host operates as an online marketplace and intermediary platform. We do not own, manage, or operate any of the listed properties.

All rental agreements are made directly between the Host and the Guest. D-host is not a party to any rental contract.

Hosts are fully responsible for:

- Accuracy of property listings

- Pricing and availability

- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

- Property safety and standards

- Guest communication and hospitality

- Fulfilling confirmed bookings

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. By using D-host you confirm that all information you provide is true and accurate.

4. Property Listings

Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring their listings are accurate, truthful, and compliant with the law. D-host reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove any listing that violates our policies.

5. Bookings & Enquiries

D-host provides tools for sending booking requests and enquiries. A booking is only confirmed when the host accepts the request.

All financial arrangements, payments, and contracts occur directly between host and guest.

6. Fees and Payments

- Hosts may be charged platform fees, subscription fees, or commission depending on the chosen plan.

- All fees are clearly shown before purchase or activation.

- Hosts are responsible for all taxes, including VAT, insurance, and regulatory obligations.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation policies are determined by the individual host. Guests must review the host’s cancellation policy before confirming a booking. D-host is not responsible for processing refunds on behalf of hosts.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

- Create false or misleading listings

- Engage in fraudulent activity

- Harass other users

- Attempt to circumvent the platform

- Use the platform for any illegal purpose

9. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and software on D-host are the exclusive property of D-Host. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, D-host shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.

Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to D-host in the twelve (12) months prior to the claim.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
